The development of the Stårheim power plant is started.Construction started in the fall of 2024.

The power plant is located in Stad municipality, Vestland county and utilizes a head of 214 m.

The maximum discharge capacity is 2,226 m³/s.

One Pelton turbine with an output of 3,822 MW will be installed in the power plant.

The waterway is approx. 2,750 meters long and consists of GRP pipes throughout the route.

In order to deliver the power to the grid, it is necessary to reinforce the grid between Jølet and Remme.

The power plant will annually produce 12.6 GWh of renewable power for around 780 homes.
