The plant is located in Samnanger municipality, Vestland county.

Construction started in January 2024. The project has been challenging to build due to the very steep terrain. The power plant was put into operation in June 2025.

The power plant utilizes a head of 320 m. The maximum discharge capacity is 1.35 m³/s.

The waterway is approx. 1450 meters long and consists of GRP and ductile pipes with a diameter of 700 mm.

The power station has one vertical Pelton turbine installed with an output of 3.5 MW.

It will annually produce 9 GWh of renewable power for around 560 homes.
