The construction project started in October 2023. The power plant was put into operation in May 2025.
The power plant is located in the Fedavassdraget in Kvinesdal municipality, Agder county. The Fedavassdraget is known as a good biotope for eels, and arrangements were made for safe up and down migration for the eel.
The power plant utilizes a head of 17 m. The plant has a maximum discharge capacity of 20 m³/s. A vertical Kaplan turbine has been installed that produces approx. 2.93 MW.
The production is estimated at 8.6 GWh of renewable power, equivalent to electricity for 540 homes.
