Nipo Kraft has two separate power stations that take water from two different rivers:
Olsbotn: Is the largest with an installed power of 1.1 MW in total.
Francis turbine. Power 1000kW. Fall 100m. Switching power max 1350l / sec. Prod 3 GWh
Pelton turbine. Power 100 kW, Fall 100 m, Switching power 160 l / sec, Prod 0.4 GWh.
Source Bekken. Is somewhat smaller station. It is the same river that the new plant will be built.
It will probably be phased out more or less but can be run in flood periods.
Francis turbine. Power 230 kW. Fall 80 m. Switching power 350 l / sec. Prod. 0.7 GWh
Pump turbine. Power 170 kW. Fall 80 m. Switching power 350 l / sec. Prod. 0.5 GWh
Francis turbine. Power 45 kW. Fall 70 m. Switching power 70 l / sec. Prod. 0.2 GWh
