Nakkevika Kraft (SUS) wants to exploit the potential of Nakkelva and Storelva in Tromsø municipality to build two small power plants with a total annual production of about 7.63 GWh of green renewable energy per year.
An attempt is made to establish a small intake dam at kote 530 in Nakkelva with a 1580 meter long pipeline route on the south side of Nakkelva down to the power station planned on kote 6. In Storelva, an attempt is made to establish a corresponding intake dam on tail 453 by an 1175 meter long pipeline route on the north side of Storelva down to the power station planned on kote 16.
The pipeline is planned buried along the entire stretch and the pipeline route will be arrested and sown until after the construction period so that the terrain will eventually have its natural character.
