Follsjå Kraftverk was officially opened on February 5, 2015. The development started on March 18, 2014, and in relation to which constructions were built, the development was carried out in record time. The commissioning of the power station will last a little over the spring, but is in operation today. Thanks to good planning and follow-up, as well as good and reliable contractors and suppliers, this has been possible. The ponds and the intake at Follsjå were built to safeguard the cultural environment in the area, in addition to being technically sound. The tunnel and the pipeline have been constructed so that the river Fulldøla is least affected, and the entire route is now reversed with its original ground vegetation. The pipe route will now be walled naturally. The power station stands as a monument at Tinnelva, right downstream of the Grønvollfoss power plant. Follsjå power station is constructed in concrete and wood cladding. We are now proud of and finally put Follsjå power plant into operation!
